I'm Kendra Alia, a self-made standout in the hair industry with over 13 years of experience behind the chair. My journey began with a deep passion for hair and a commitment to mastering simple color and styling techniques. Over the years, that passion has evolved into a mission to educate and empower both professionals and everyday clients.
As the founder of Salon Her Institute, I’ve created a dynamic education platform that bridges the gap between salon-level expertise and accessible, at-home care. From teaching advanced color techniques, foil placements, and much more to fellow stylists to simplifying everyday hair routines for clients, my goal is to make great hair achievable for everyone.
​I’ve worked hard to develop multiple education platforms that reflect my love for the craft and my belief in continuous learning. Now, I travel and teach, sharing the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to elevate the hair experience—no matter where you are in your journey.
